Department wise exhibition for the students were organized on 5th April 2017. Models were made by the students was on display. Mrs. Jyothi HR, RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital, were invited to judge the models. She congratulated the students for their wonderful effort. She expressed that such exhibition shapes the students and helps them to go beyond just bookish or pedantic knowledge and the experience which would help them to grow as individuals in future.

Ethnicity plays a major role in how students’ personality is shaped….. Students were provided with an opportunity to celebrate the diversity of vibrant and colorful. The whole campus seems to be charged with ethnic atmosphere with students in their dazzling, colourful, exquisite traditional apparels. Students and faculties depicted the tradition and culture of different states of India and enthusiastically participated in the event. This event served as a platform for students to show the essence of their ethnicity and respective cultures through a series of entertainment of songs, dance performances
World Breastfeeding week-2017 was observed by Dept. of Pediatric Nursing in collaboration with Pediatric Department of RRMCH , from August 1st – 7th 2017 based on the theme “Sustaining Breastfeeding Together†at RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital. Poster exhibition was conducted at RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital for both antenatal and postnatal mother. Health talk was provided on information related to the advantages of breastfeeding and various positions of breastfeeding, properties, techniques and ill effects of artificial feeding, breast care and management of breast problems.
RRGI celebrated the belated birthday of Hon’ble Chairman Shri A C Shanmugham on September 28, 2015. An elaborate event was planned by team RRMCH, but on special request from our Chairman, we kept it as simple as possible. The teaching as well as non teaching staff attended the function with great enthusiasm.
The ceremony began with a welcome speech delivered by the Medical Director of RRMCH, Dr. D L Ramchandra, who threw light on the journey of our Chairman and his valuable contributions to the college and education.
This was followed by the felicitation ceremony of Hon’ble Shri A C Shanmugham with flowers and a memento. The Chairman thanked all the attendees for their wishes and shared a few words of wisdom as well.
Next up was a prize distribution ceremony recognizing the winners of Chairman’s trophy for their contribution to the game. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Dean Dr Shivakumar Veeraiah and a round of refreshments.
01/12/2015 was celebrated WORLD AIDS DAY by students, to create awareness about AIDS-a dreadful disease. The students of B.Sc. (N) IV year prepared posters and models related to causes of AIDS and its preventive measures. They organized an exhibition for the people for their easy understanding.
