The international yoga day was organized on 21st June 2022 at Government higher primary school Ganpatihalli Bangalore to bring peace harmony happiness and success to every soul of the world, collaborating with department of Community Health Nursing Mrs.Tejeshwari.B.V B.V HOD and Professor and Mrs.Manali Chakraborty lecturer of community health nursing RRCN Bangalore.
This was a great opportunity to imbibe the value of discipline. Yoga is a mental physical and spiritual practice that needs to be carried every day. Students got the chance to know how yoga embodies unity of mind and body. The students along with the teachers performed yoga between 10am to 11 a.m. Different yoga postures like Bhujangasana (cobra stretch), Eka padsana, Bal -Asana (child pose), Buddha kanasana, Tadasana. The program finally ended with meditation.
