On 26th of July 2019, a Guest lecture was conducted on “Telemedicine†by Department of Community health Nursing of RajaRajeswari College of Nursing in Kadamba hall of RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital under the guidance of Mrs. Tejeshwari.B.V, HOD of Community health Nursing. Dr. Swapna Jaswanth, Associate Professor of Community Medicine department RRMCH, was the guests who gave lecture on topics based on the current technology. The topics were- Introduction and History of Telemedicine, technology, types, features, application, challenges, advantages & disadvantages of telemedicine. It was started at 10:15am till 12pm. Over around 70 students from B.Sc 4th year, 6 students from M.Sc 1st year along with community department teachers attended the guest lecture. It was a fruitful session that helped to enlighten the knowledge of the students.
