World AIDS Day was celebrated on 1st December 2017. Poster presentations based on AIDS theme and its awareness were presented by the students of BSc, P.B.B.Sc and M.Sc. Nursing students. An interactive session on HIV and AIDS was held for the first year B.Sc Nursing students, and Mrs.Muneeswari, HOD of Pediatric Nursing department was the resource person. She emphasized on HIV transmission, staging, treatment, prevention, and role of nurses in overcoming stigma and discrimination.Â
