COVID19 Awareness Programme

With the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, as declared by World Health Organization (WHO) as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern, awareness programme was organized from Department of Medical Surgical Nursing on 13-03-2020 focusing more on preventive aspects to protect the health care staff and the public.
The programme started at 10:30 am at RRMCH lobby in order to create awareness among the general public and the patients attending the OPD. 3rd year B. Sc. Nursing students of our college created the awareness about spread of COVID19 and its preventive measures among the public through the role play. Associate Professor Reshma Kharvi, demonstrated the proper use and disposal of the Mask and Associate Professor and Head, Depatment of medical surgical nursing, stressed on importance of social distancing and how it can help in controlling the spread of corona virus. At the end the students also demonstrated the proper hand washing technique and its importance.
